About Ryan

Three decades of helping Christian leaders steward the four relationships their life actually runs on.

Who I Serve

How I can Help

I serve Christian leaders, couples, and Christian-led firms who want a wiser, deeper, more integrated way to lead and live. For over three decades I've come alongside founders, owners, executives, and senior professionals โ€” helping them gain clarity, face the patterns that keep repeating, navigate weighty decisions, and grow in ways that align leadership, relationships, and inner life with what they believe.

THE SINGLE GOAL UNDERNEATH ALL OF IT
Helping Christians get God's love from head to heart, so they love Jesus with all they have and are, love others better, and gain healing, growth, and strategic clarity.

Assessments

MBTI Step II ยท EQ-i 2.0 ยท CliftonStrengths 34

Certified in MBTI Step II and EQ-i 2.0. Draws regularly on CliftonStrengths 34 alongside proprietary frameworks SALVES and the CHEW Method.

In Progress

Doctoral studies in Practical Theologyย โ€” pursuing a Ph.D. focused on how God's love actually moves from head to heart. Clients benefit directly: the academic work sharpens the frameworks brought into sessions and deepens what's available when a leader is stuck between what they believe and what they feel.

Formative Influence

Sat under the teaching of Tim Keller from 1989 to 2002 โ€” formative years that shaped how Scripture is read, how the human heart is understood, and how the Gospel functions as the actual operating system of a Christian life, not a topic within it.

Proprietary Frameworks

Frameworks I developed

Two frameworks developed from decades of work with Christian leaders โ€” both proprietary, both central to the work.

Assessment Framework

SALVES

Identifies the six core drivers โ€” Security, Acceptance, Love, Value, Enjoyment, Significance โ€” underneath what people are actually optimizing for. Used in individual, couples, and firm engagements.

Formation Framework

The CHEWโ„ข Method

Helps Christians lead from stability โ€” where SALVES needs are met not by performance, but by knowing they are loved by God as much as He loves Jesus. The foundation of The Daily CHEWโ„ข.

In Practice

How I work

Clients describe me as someone who gets to the heart of the matter quickly, asks the questions others don't, tells the truth with care, and stays with them through the work.

I bring executive coaching, organizational consulting, and biblical formation together โ€” because leadership, the inner life, marriage, and the relationships we lead through are not separate categories. They are one life, lived through four relationships.

A small support team assists behind the scenes with research, materials, and content โ€” but the coaching and advisory relationship itself is directly with me.

Still in the Work

My own work

I do this work because I am also in it.

WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE
I have my own coach (Dan Rockwell of Leadership Freak), anย EMDR therapist, and aย spiritual director. I am back in school studying God's love and how it moves from head to heart. I am not a guide who has arrived. I am a guide who keeps going further in.
