The Daily CHEW™
Moving God’s Love from Head to Heart for Christian Professionals

You know this pattern: Sunday lands, a song or Scripture genuinely meets you, your heart slows, and for a moment you remember you are more than your output. By Tuesday afternoon, the inbox is full, the meetings stack up, and that worship pace feels like it belonged to another life. You care about honoring Christ in your work, yet the speed of your week often drowns out the stillness you tasted in the sanctuary.

Today’s CHEW builds on “God’s Patient Love That Meets You in a Single Worship Moment” and simply asks: what if that same patient love could follow you into the car, the staff meeting, and the boardroom? The good news is that God’s presence does not clock out after the benediction. His love is as steady on a Tuesday at 2 PM as it is during the closing hymn.

Confess
Father, I confess how quickly I treat Sunday as a spiritual speed bump—sincere in the moment, then forgotten once the week accelerates. I acknowledge that I often live as if You stayed in the sanctuary while I went back to “real life.”

Hear
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psalm 23:6)
Your patient love pursues me into every meeting, email, and conversation this week.

Exchange
If I really believed God’s love is patiently present with me in the same way on Tuesday afternoon as it is on Sunday morning, how would that change the way I carry my schedule, my conversations, and my inner pace this week?

Walk (30–90 seconds)
Before your next meeting or task today, pause for one slow breath and silently pray, “Lord, thank You that Your goodness and mercy are following me into this moment.” Let that sentence be your bridge between the sanctuary and the space you are about to enter. If this is the only thing I do from this CHEW today, it is enough.

With you on the journey,
Ryan
